I’ve been working on my computer all day, and at one point I logged in to WorkitMom.com to check on some new messages. While I was there, I got a network request, so I checked out the person’s member profile, and headed over to her blog, where I found this article about Dana’s quest to make a living off her blog. From that post, I ended up finding Steve Pavlina’s post about making money from your blog - something he apparently does quite well.

Now, making money online is something I’m always interested in, so when I read the discussion about building blog traffic by participating in blog carnivals, I was intrigued. Back when I was doing more medical writing, I did submit a couple of posts to medical “blog carnivals”, but I guess I wasn’t really aware that this was a wider internet phenomenon. This realization brought me to BlogCarnival.com which lists and provides submission forms for thousands of blog carnivals across the net.

So, I went to it, and submitted a few of my blog posts to several different blog carnivals. You can see the first at the All Women Blogging Carnival, hosted this week by GoWorkoutMom.com.

Thanks to everyone for the info. Isn’t interesting where you can end up on the net?
