As it was promised back in June when the Morrison and Mashe sextuplets were born less than 24 hours apart, this truly is the “summer of sextuplets”. Saturday evening, the Bylers gave birth to Florida’s first set of sextuplets. The babies were delivered by cesarean section after mom’s water broke just before 30 weeks gestation.

The babies weighed in between 2 pounds 5 ounces and 3 pounds. Two of the babies, Ryan Patrick and Jackson Robert are reported to be in critical condition, and two others, Charlie Craig and MacKenzie Margaret, are in serious condition. Their brothers Brady Christopher and Eli Benjamin are doing well at this time. Mom is doing well.

As many of you will remember, the Masches delivered their sextuplets around 30 weeks gestation as well, and their mother suffered from heart failure shortly after delivery. The babies and mom are now home and doing well. The Morrisons delivered their sextuplets at about 22 weeks gestation. Their one surviving son, Sylas, is still hospitalized and is expected to remain in the hospital until his October 4th due date.

The fourth set of sextuplets expected this summer are the babies of Bryan and Gracie Soldani. They are now about 28 weeks along, and their babies are expected to arrive at any time.
