Christmas Spirit
Last weekend on Startup Story Radio, Rob discussed the Christmas spirit (listen to the podcast here), and a unique project by the MovieBakery.com - a video advent calendar which features videos that promote the true spirit of the season. That got myself and many others thinking about a way to make the season more meaningful.
I’ve been involved in keeping a blog on CarePages.com devoted to my recent pregnancy and new baby. This website provides a free and easy platform for people to update friends and family about someone who is sick or injured. Today, I received an email from CarePages with their 31 Days of Giving Back Calendar. Each day, it suggests something simple (and usually free) you can do to give back this holiday season.
I’ll follow up this post with what our family is doing to teach our daughters about the meaning of the Christmas season. In the meantime, I’d love to hear what you have planned.
