Cool Toys Made in the USA
I figured since I posted my little tirade about products imported from China, I ought to suggest a cool product that’s actually made in the USA. . . Zome, is a line of building toys for kids 6 and up. They come in kits, but on a very cool note, you can also by pieces by the pound to supplement your kits or replace lost parts. To me, one of the coolest looking kits is the Crazy Bubbles kit, which allows you to create various shapes, and then use them to blow bubbles.
Another cool building toy, also made in Colorado is Superstructs. Superstructs were inspired by Legos and Tinkertoys, and there are also gear sets reminiscent of Construx. Don’t forget that Knex are made right here in the United States, and LEGO bricks are made in Denmark and Germany.
