Excuses, Excuses
Tuesday, February 8, 2011 11:51Wow, I really can’t believe that it’s been over a month (almost two) since I last managed to publish a post here. It’s not like there hasn’t been anything interesting going on in health news. I just haven’t been able to find both the time and energy at one time to string together more than one or two coherent sentences.
We’ve got a TON of new stuff going on right now, and many more things coming up. With the election over, Rob was able to move on to new projects. He launched his new radio show, the Rob McNealy Program, a couple of weeks ago. That means I’ve been doing a lot of behind the scenes work tweaking his website and getting the nitty gritty stuff for the podcast set up.
I’ve been wading through the rather lengthy process of applying for family medicine residency positions. Interview season is over, and I’ve submitted my rank order list for “the match”. Match day is March 17th. Until then we’re in a bit of a holding pattern, waiting to hear whether we’ll be staying in Denver, or moving to some other part of Colorado. While we’re waiting, I’m studying for Step 3 of my board exams.
We have some new sponsors coming on board and an old sponsor coming back, so you’ll be seeing some new video posts soon, including some new cooking videos. I haven’t posted a video since M was born, and he’ll be one next week, so . . .
Well, enough about me. What have all of you been up to?

I love your recipe blog posts, especially the pictures as I am a visual person. Being a runner who always seems to be watching what I eat I would love to see some nutritious low-fat recipes to try out. Thanks.
