Holiday Insanity
Sunday, December 23, 2007 11:08For starters, I use the term “holiday” above, not out of political correctness, but out of the fact that two of my kids celebrate their birthdays during the week before Christmas. Thus, the insanity happening at out house over the past 7 or 8 days is about more than Christmas.
So far, we have so many packages from out of town relatives in our bedroom, that we can hardly walk. I thought about running out for stocking stuffers today, but I decided last night after surveying the piles, that we really don’t need anything else to open (or wrap). We’re extremely greatful for everything we’re all receiving this year, but looking at it in big piles on our bedroom floor is more than a little overwhelming. I think I’m going to have to spend the remaining Christmas budget on a new toy box!
