Friday, August 10, 2007 10:13Have you ever tried to type while lying in bed on your left side? Probably not, unless you’ve been on bed rest recently. I ended up in the hospital on Wednesday afternoon, which was really not where I wanted to be at 32 weeks pregnant. Thankfully, they were able to stop my contractions with a medication called terbutaline, and then they sent me on my way with some oral medication to take for the next two weeks and instructions to stay in bed, lying on my left side as much as possible.
Now, I’m trying to get into the swing of taking care of the girls from the couch, while trying to keep up on some of my web work. It sounds like my dad will be here some time in the next few days to lend me a hand while Rob works, which will be nice. Hopefully we can keep this little guy were he belongs for at least two more weeks. I know there are no guarantees, but at least that will give him a fighting chance of staying out of the NICU and coming straight home with us.
