Organic Skin Care from Nurture My Body
Friday, February 13, 2009 0:10In my continuing quest to reduce the number of potentially harmful chemicals in both the food and bath and body products in my home, I have been testing a variety of new products lately. So, when I was given the chance to try out a facial cleanser from Nurture My Body, I gladly agreed.
Nurture My Body’s Cleansing Milk is a gentle facial cleanser that contains seaweed extract and aloe vera gel, designed for normal to oily skin. I was impressed right away by the Cleansing Milk’s light fresh scent, although, if you prefer, it also comes in a fragrance free version. Better yet, it made my skin feel clean, without feeling dry or irritated. This is a big plus for me, because I have extremely sensitive skin, and I have yet to find a drug store brand facial cleanser that hasn’t irritated my skin. I was happy with how my skin looked and felt when I used the Cleansing Milk.
In addition to facial cleansers, Nurture My Body also offers lotions, body washes, shampoo, conditioner and baby care products. Nurture My Body products contain organic ingredients and are biodegradable. They also come packaged in cobalt blue bottles to block UV rays, and I happen to be a sucker for blue bottles.
On top of all that, Nurture My Body products are free of potentially harmful chemicals like parabens, phthalates and sodium laurel sulphate – all chemicals I try to avoid when buying bah and body products for my family. Yes, these are definitely good skin products and the olfactory is not overwhelmed by the mild but pleasant scent.

I definitely need to use more natural skin care products, I get so wrapped up with diet that I forget about this. Thanks for the reminder.

Unfortunately, skin care is often a part of peoples lives that they overlook until it is too late.
Using the proper products and a good routine will help you to stay looking younger for longer which is something that I would venture to guess everyone wants to do.

Yes keep away from parabeans, we should be more careful about what we put on our skin as you’d be surprised what crap things are made of.
