Preemie Mom Survey Respondents Needed!
Saturday, April 30, 2011 9:30This week Deb Discenza, moderator of the Inspire Preemie Support Group, launched a survey of preemie moms regarding insensitive comments from family, friends and the public. I know I originally met some of you on the Inspire preemie form back in the day, so I wanted to pass on this opportunity to share your experiences.
Survey respondents will be entered to win one of three prizes in a random drawing: a $50 Amazon gift card; a copy of “The Preemie Parent’s Survival Guide to the NICU,” from www.PreemieWorld.com; and a copy of the “Little Man” DVD, from www.PreemieWorld.com.
While this survey is only open to the moms of preemies and former preemies, keep your eye out for future surveys looking for the input of other family members.

Hi, Kristie,
I was doing a search about baby bonding and found your article about bonding with baby in the NICU. I explored your site some, and noticed the reference to the survey for parents of preemies and parents of former preemies. Are you aware of preemie-L.org? That is a group that might be useful to you and your readers. Meanwhile, I forwarded to them information about your website and about the survey.
Thanks for being there! I was born at 36 weeks, and I am happy that you are supporting parents to support their preemies. I especially appreciated your article on bonding with babies in the NICU, because supporting the bonding process is my specialty and my passion.
Sincerely,
Meg Sullivan, RN
