Teava: Skin Care Products that Harness the Powers of Tea

I know tea is an amazing substance, full of vitamins and powerful antioxidants, so when I got the chance to try out part of the Clarity skincare line from Teava, I was pretty excited to see how it would work for me.

When my box from Teava first arrived, I was impressed with both the packaging, and the generous size of the products. After reading up on the recommended skincare regimen on the Teava website, I was excited to jump in and try everything out.

The products I received from the Teava Clarity Collection included:

Clear – a facial cleanser with white tea and tea tree oil
Refine – a white tea and yarrow, alcohol-free astringent
Clarify – a salicylic acid and white tea daily face cream
Lucent – an alpha hydroxy acid and rooibos tea night cream

Initially, I was a little worried that the combination of salicylic acid in the cleanser and daytime face cream, along with the alpha hydroxy acid in the night cream would be irritating to my sensitive skin. I was pleasantly surprised that my skin didn’t feel at all dry or irritated using the Teava products both morning and night. This is a first for me, so it definitely scored big points in favor of Teava.

The Clear cleanser left my face feeling clean and neither oily nor dry, and the Refine tonic felt cool and fresh. Both the day and night creams provided a nice amount of moisture without feeling heavy or greasy. I think my favorite product was the Awake eye cream, which felt cool when it went on, and with daily use, it didn’t irritate the sensitive skin around my eyes, or my eyes themselves, like other products I’ve used in the past.

After a week of using the Teava products, my skin was noticeably clearer and my skin looked and felt better overall. I’ve continued using the products, and I am still as pleased as I was at the very beginning. Overall, the skincare regimen is fast and easy to follow, and the results are definitely worth it.
