Voluntary Recall of HAPPYTOT and HAPPYBABY Baby Food Pouches

Saturday, January 16, 2010 13:06

This week, Nurture Inc. announced a voluntary recall of HAPPYTOT Stage 4 and the new HAPPYBABY Stage 1 and Stage 2 pouch products due to a packaging defect.  According to the company and the FDA, some of the pouches were discovered to be leaking or swollen, which could indicate a problem with the safety of the products.

According to Nurture Inc., there have been no illnesses reported due to the use of their baby food products, and only one consumer complaint at the time of their press release on January 13th.  If your child has already eaten one of the recalled products, there is no reason to assume that they will become ill, or are in any danger.
